Title: 5th gear & clutch options Post by weracerc on 05/04/11 at 12:21:14 5th gear is hit or miss - miss more when cold weather - miss fewer in warm weather - sometimes i think i am in 4th and go for 5th shifter does not move at all but the bikes goes to neutral for a few seconds.......is this clutch related, inherent to the bike or other? and would a new clutch help? & what kind...is it Barnett??

The term for our issue a "hidden neutral". Start shifting like this. Pull clutch lever shift up and keep pressure on the shifter Let the clutch lever out Let the shifter drop
