I was gonna say that but I didn't want to influence anyone's vote. ;D

Alleged voter fraud and Harper contravened the Elections Act going On Air to do a radio interview and asking people to vote for him.

Not only has Harper blatantly contravened the Election Act by ignoring the media blackout rule on Election Day but it is alleged that Tories have been committing voter fraud in swing ridings by telephoning advising them poll locations were changed.

The right wing is the same everywhere you go. >:(

CBC is projecting Harper will retain power in Canada, unknown yet whether he will have a majority. >:(

Global News is calling it a Conservative government with NDP opposition.
Early estimates on Twitter are suggesting Conservative majority. :(

Sigh, I've been watching the results come in all night.

It's over, Harper won again... This is so sad for Canadians. Harper was found in contempt of Parliament, hence the election, and now this happens.

I'm so very sorry for you guys. I'm so sick and tired of conservatives. I was really hoping you were going to get an NDP miracle majority.

But at least the NDP did well, and may lay the groundwork for an electoral resurgence of progressivism down the line.

Conservative majority with an NDP opposition. We are in uncharted territory.
This is going to be interesting up here

Well, one good note.

Green Party Leader Elizabeth May defeated Conservative cabinet minister Gary Lunn in the Vancouver Island riding of Saanich-Gulf Islands.

Has anyone of the green party ever held such a post before?

Elizabeth May is the first Green Party member to be elected in Canada.  There was a previous Green MP, Blair Wilson, but that was because he crossed the floor from the Liberal Party when they kicked him out over a scandal of not repaying a loan of about two million to his FIL.  Said he thought it was a gift.
