Here's what I found on a French website: It seems the "photo of dead Osama" had already been published on an Iranian "information" website "Tabnak.ir" no less than 5 months ago, on 10 December 2010. The same pic waslater reposted on another website, al-Jewar.org (Iraq) Pacifist website Peacereporter reveals the pic declared to be Osama dead is a fraud, a phony. It seems that, according to peacereporter.net the picture shown was created by photoshopping an old picture of Osama and was circulated as "20060923-torturedosama.jpg" which was created on 23 September 2006. Now, if lil'ol'me could figure out as much in a mere 8 hours (getting a full day's work done, by the way) then somebody didn't do their homework... I just hope we don't get another Osama BBQ on Labor Day or something... :P |

Islamabad is over 1000 miles away from the coast, and he certainly wasn't buried at the beach; so, why was a dead body flown to a carrier out at sea and then dumped into the ocean? 3) To bury at sea a Muslim who died on land is, by all means, blasphemy. By Islamic Law a man is to be buried where he is found dead (=at the nearest cemetery) and there are plenty of cemeteries in Islamabad !!! I have already discussed the facts about the photo. To make a long story short, there are far too many details that DON'T match up to make the story credible. The OBL Abbotabad compound was built in 2005, right after the 2004 election. The Bin Laden tape from October of 2004 was definitely a factor in that year's election. Could Bush have used OBL as a boogieman to maximum effect that year, culminating with the election eve Bin Laden tape? In 2005, right after that election, the compound in Abbotabad was built and Bin Laden had a safe place to live. In that same year, the emphasis on Bin Laden as a boogieman was reduced significantly by the Bush Administration. They shut down the Bin Laden search in 2006, as I recall. So... was there some sort of quid pro quo happening in 2004/2005? Bin Laden helps Bush win the election and Bush looks the other way as payback? The timing just seems too convenient for that not to be a possibility. |

They have to be gruesome beyond belief - a head shot with the kind of weapon special ops forces use will totally explode the skull. The brain liquifies from internal thermodynamic pressures that would rupture a boiler, and those internal pressures fracture the skull into many pieces that explode like a broken eggshell. It all happens in about 1/2000th of a second, given the muzzle velocity of these weapons and the close range of the shot. I've seen this kind of wound - it isn't just an entrance hole and a slightly larger exit wound. Probably everything above the nose was totally obliterated. Why give the bad guys anything to incite their "troops" with? |

Standard load is full metal jacket high velocity. Small entrance wound, slightly larger exit wound, no exploded head. Just a handfull of brains hanging out the back of the head. Especialy up close and personal. Makes for a nice clean picture. When they first came out with the .223 they claimed you hit a man in the foot and it would break every bone in his leg. Reality was you shot a man in the foot he would run up and kick you in the nads with it. One of the reasons their taught the double tap. One to the chest and one to the head because one or two to the chest may not put him down. He!! it wont even put a coyote down with one through the chest usualy. Not right away. They were designed primarily to wound, not kill. One wounded man removes two healthy men from the fight to move him. That and you can carry about double the load of ammo from what you could for the old M14 or M1 I really hope hes dead but untill i see a picture im not holding my breath. Whole story stinks worse every time they retell it. |

While I too find it healthy and wise to distrust the government in most matters, I beleive this is too big of an operation to have faked it. I don't really take anything at face value, anymore. However the Taliban and al-Jazeera news have both confirmed that OBL has been killed by the US and is dead. We also have to realize that we get our information through theM$M. They will bend and manipulate the information as much as they think they can to appease their corporate masters. Whether it's the guy you like in office or the guy you don't, politics isn't and has never been about "the Truth", it's always about a Point of View and Diplomacy, however in this instance I do believe the Seals went into that compound and killed OBL. |
