Title: Pep 'jumps' when I start her Post by dekuji63 on 05/01/11 at 13:57:30 I know I've read various bits of information about this phenomenon in different places. I searched here but found nothing (probably my bad search abilities). I'm not terribly worried about this but wonder what adjustment I could make/should make to help with it. Peppermint Patty ('09 S40 BestBikeEver) usually doesn't go more than two days without getting started/ridden although the weather has been most unpleasant today (rain/hail). I stand her up, pull the clutch and the brake, kick the stand and hit the starter. Jump! Just a momentary forward hop. It was surprising the first few times but I've gotten used to it. I just didn't know if this is typical. Thanks for your input! |
