Title: Re: finished my bobber Post by babyhog on 04/28/11 at 06:03:12 Looks great! But I must say we don't often see "finished" and "bobber" used together. ;) I also love the blue accents. Gas cap is a nice extra touch we don't see painted much. But I love it! What did you use and do you think it will last well on the cap? I'm thinking that might be a nice RED touch to add to my bike.... |
Title: Re: finished my bobber Post by justin_o_guy2 on 04/28/11 at 06:04:11 Bobbed & still got fenders,, good move IMO,, looks nice. Any idea how much weight you ditched? Is that a Dyna? |

I painted the cap on my GS1000 also and its held up so I figured I was goood to go with this one and it just stuck out to much leaving it chrome. I used dupli-color match paint |

The OEM muffler alone had to be 5lb difference to the dyna. I used the OEM fender I just cut it. I figure about 20lbs chopped fender sissy bar rear seat belt guard muffler OEM sig lights |

Title: Re: finished my bobber Post by Fish on 04/28/11 at 19:31:01 That's a badass bike. I love the colors and the painted wheels. The more custom Savages I see the more it makes me think about doing more with mine other than using it as a stock 1st bike. I bought it just to learn on and possibly upgrade later on and get all my money back. Hmm [smiley=undecided.gif] |
