Hi guys I'm new here and have just purchased a 05 / S40 that has been wrecked in the front , what I would like to know is what models/ years forks will interchange on my bike thanks for any info :D

Any year savage forks or front end will interchange.

And with modification... many GS models front ends (whole) will fit the head stock. Also a GR650 will fit. However, you will need to modify the turn stops or you will damage the tank.

I have contacted every dealer /shop within 3 hundred miles of my home and no one knows anything about these bikes , I have rode bigger bikes but I love the feel of this bike I just hope it rides as good as it feels under my AZZ :D .. I have to repaint the tank and repair one of the stops as they where damaged in the wreck but so far I see no other damage and I got the bike at a steal so Im ready for forks and a nice ride 8-)
