Title: Wheels and Tires!!.
Post by wesley on 03/30/11 at 07:46:18

hello guys! Wes here..
new member and owner of an ls650!

This thread pretty much is about increasing the size of the rear wheel/tire.

question for the wheels:
How do i go about getting bigger wheels in the back?
Does anybody in here installed one so far? post pics if you do.

Tire questions:
What is the biggest tire you can mount on the stock wheels?
 width and height wise?

of course i assumed if i go for bigger wheels then the strut needs to be raised. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Wes

Thank you!
is the clearance pretty good? did you have to adjust the shocks?

I guess ill just go with that then. hopefully I'll find some white walls

No clearance issues...stock shocks but I'm light (145).

I took off the saddlebag brackets...I think they would have rubbed but I'm not sure.
If you really wanted to be sure you don't rub you could replace the bolts with round head machine screws...
