Hey guys local dealer has a 2005 savage with 1100 miles on it they want 2800.00 I think I can get them down to 2500 does this sound like a fair price and I noticed lancer dosen't have any cams or carbs for a while is he no longer selling them any feed back would be cool. Thanks.

kbb has it at $2200 w/8400 miles.
nada has if for $100 less.

Low mileage is worth something
and if they have all the maintenance records it's worth more.

and quoted prices are w/o options.

I just paid $2300 for a 2005 with 2000 miles, from an individual. Needed a new battery, as it had been in storage. From looking at other bikes for sale, I think this was a great deal. The guy had it posted on CL for $2400. From a dealer, the price you mentioned seems about right.

Just bought mine a couple months ago for $2200. Its a 2007 and had 2700 miles at the time. Came with suzuki windshield, engine guard and saddle bags. I thought it was a good deal. 8-)

bought my 2006 with 1000 miles from a dealer for $2500. I would say the price they quoted you is perfectly reasonable.

But by all means, offer less. All stealerships are hurting for sales.
