Title: Versahaul + who's going to the SC bike show? Post by DaveLKN on 02/25/11 at 20:55:36 Hi all, Has anybody here ever used a Versahaul hitch mounted carrier for their Savage? The LS is under the weight limits for this device- so I think it's a solution where a trailer is not practical. I would occasionally want to take the bike with me when I need to drive my truck out of town (has a shell on it) so this looked like a possibility. Maybe someone will have an example at the bike show in Greenville SC tomorrow. I'm planning on going. What do you guys think? |

Title: Re: Versahaul + who's going to the SC bike show? Post by kimchris1 on 02/27/11 at 13:26:32 We have one of similar to this one. It worked great when I had my Rebel. I don't recall using it for the Suzuki yet. It should work well though. Just make sure you check your tie downs, and if a ramp is not included in yours, make one and take along with you. unless you already have a trailer, should be cheaper in the long run. Good luck.. :) kim |
