That rocks dude.  What camera/mic are you running that gets the exhaust note so good?

Thanks...

Sound is from my point'n'shoot Fuji camera, so is the video...  It works great, as long as it ain't moving with the bike... then, wind noise overpowers everything...
So, I could only use the sound on the drive-by cutaways...

The song is, "Big Sky Country", by Chris Whitely... ;)...

Awesome, I'm so jealous!!  Got warm (45-50ish) and sunny this weekend, but we've had so much snow, its now melting and making a mess.  Not worth getting the bike out in it for me.

Thanks for the vid.  At least I can ride through you...  Scenery is so flat, we don't have much of that around here either!

And I still dig the chaps   ;)

Thanks Serowbot for taking the time shooting that video.
I have not ridden in a little over a week, rain and cool temps have kept me off the bike.
What was the temp that day?
Is that an area you ride often?
My sun visor would come in handy down there for sure..:) kim

The high temp here that day was about 70'... so down there, it's a bit higher elevation,... probably low 60's...
And, the road is actually much more twisty, and up and down than it looks on the video...  the panorama is more impressive too...  It's a shame those things don't seem to translate to video...
I've probably ridden that ride 50+ times,... one of my favorites...
I crashed my Ninja on that road, doing about 85,... came off a hill and caught some air,... there was a sharp left on the other side... I missed it...
...that's when I got smart, bought my Savage and slowed down...
On this ride, some cows broke the fence and blocked the road... glad I didn't have the Ninja for that...

Piglet noticed my chaps...  That's the first time I've ever worn chaps.  Makes my legs feel like they weigh a ton.  Weird...  But, I got'em at a yard sale for $20, and they did keep the wind chill off...

... and now Piglet says they look cool, so,... maybe I'll wear them less self consciously next time.
Thanks Piglet...  ;)...

PS...
For those interested in doing a video... here's an example of some bad footage, from the same ride...
...and a few don't s...
I mounted the camera rigidly to George's rear fender... to get a front on shot... and it didn't work out...

1. Too much vibration.
2. My headlight causes a weird flare.
3. The sound... (Turn down your monitor!)... it's bad.  This is what the wind does to you lovely engine's purr...
Useless footage...
... but just so you see... Here's a clip...

Now,.. isn't a nice Chris Whitely tune a lot better than that racket?.... :-?...
;D...

Very nice, although it didn't help my cabin fever at all (-20 C as we speak)!
I bought a GOPRO to do ride vidios. Neadless to say, I havn't used it yet.
Heavy sigh :'(

Here's somethin' kinda funny:  I saw a big ole yeller school bus, but not a house in sight!  That must be one long route.  Thanks for the vid!!

Serowbot, I wear chaps everytime I ride. They keep my legs warm and if you ever go down. You will appreciate having them. Mine have the wear marks from the asphalt when I slid. They saved my legs from severe road rash. Better to have leather scraped then your skin.
Nice you showed them off in your video. You could be a model for them. ;)
Keep the videos coming. I enjoyed it. Thanks again, kim :)

Those are fun to watch you can post one a day to keep the northerners happy.

Wow!
Bot, I thought I was watching "Then came Bronson"!
Great ride. It really shows off the Big Wide Empty out here in AZ.
These little thumpers were made for this area.

Nice job man
