Title: Actual Dyno Runs?
Post by Drifter on 01/27/11 at 07:19:54

Has anyone had a stock savage on a dyno if so what torque and HP numbers did it have?  Second question with standard mods like a pipe cone filter and jetting changes what are the actual gains to be had if any?

Does running a cone filter verses the stock box affect the power curve of the engine much, on some bikes you lose the bottom end when adding a cone/k@n style filter.

What is the real wet weight of a stock savage?

There are a number of dyno runs, seek and ye shall find.  Not sure if there are any stock stock runs, but maybe one.

Re-jet, K/N, Supertrap, mild exhaust porting, ...
Probably good for about 4 hp's... stock is likely around 28 to 30...
