Has anyone put a bigger tank on there bike, like something off a Vulcan 800/ 500 or Honda shadow or any other bike if so show pics. It would be great to have a 5 gallon tank on one of these bikes!

Seem to remember posts about doing this but cant find them. Any new tank you will need to mount the speedometer somehwere other than the tank. This usually will require a longer speedo cable. The tank will also not be a direct fit so will need to be modified to fit and attach properly. I seem to rember vulcan and roadking tanks.

This might help you. I put a six gallon road king tank on mine, and Jack_650 put on a softail tank. Someone else installed a Vulcan tank.

It is said that putting a Harley Sportster tank on is fairly easy, and there is an aftermarket tank called a Porkster that is 4.2 gallons.

How about a 1400 intruder tank anyone tried that? The 750 kaw tank looked pretty good.

a 1400 intruder tank won't get you very much extra fuel. they only hold 3.4 gallons
