Title: Parts interchange... Post by einheit13 on 01/02/11 at 12:56:17 Are there 'cut off' years for LS 650/Savage/S40 parts?? I'm looking at a a 'new' seat for my she friends S40. I think hers is an 08 and I have scoped a 2 piece seat off a 97...will the bolt right up or will I have to do some fabricating??

Post by verslagen1 on 01/02/11 at 13:10:24 The one piece seats won't directly exchange for the 2 piece seats. 2 piece seats have a hook that looks like a drawer pull on the back and a bolt that's hidden by the driver seat. Whereas the 1 piece seats just have a bolt just in front of the tail light. Form wise, they're the same, I think.
