You can use those. Mite take some whittlin & stuff, theres ways to hang them,..just pretend no one ever made a saddlebag before ^& you found those & now, youre gonna figger a way to mount them up, cuz you need em.
One guy loosened his fender rails & tucked the end of the center strap ( after he cut it) down in there & tightened them down..

What's wrong with those?  Rear signals in the way?  Alot of us have moved our rear signals to accomodate for larger bags.  Use the search function at the top and search for "saddle bag", "saddlebag", "move signals", etc.  (Be sure to change the time frame drop-down menu as it defaults to one week).  You should find lots of info.  There are ones that don't require moving the signals too.

The bags are 14.5”W x 10”H x 5”D -- they should fit.  Because of the rear signal lamps you would probably reverse than to have the small bag on the end.  Some use the bags under the seat, some with a hole in the middle.

Basically, *anything* can be made to fit.

Mine are a bit bigger, 13 1/2 inches width X 10 1/2 inches height X 6 1/4 inches in Depth, and they fit. Yours will be no problem. Be careful not to cover the fins on the transformer under the seat. It may take some muscle to get the seat back on, bolt alignment is tight.

I cut the bags off the hang strap and zip tied them to the brackets...;;Looks neat and and you do not have to cover the fins or cut to fit.  If you will send me your e-mail address I will send some pictures.  My e-mail addrss is:

tdval@comcast.net

I had the willie and max 12x91/2"x 6 size.

thanks for all the support, there were two rubber mounts near the back end, that keep the seat from touching the rear fender. I removed those and the seat goes down perfect with the saddlebags hanging down under the seat.

looks real good. Now i just need some supports for the bags, and i will be done with that project.
