Title: New Bars Post by BarneyBWilde on 11/23/10 at 08:34:33 Just a quick question, is it necessary to drill holes in the bar to mount the housings? |
Title: Re: New Bars Post by splash07 on 11/23/10 at 08:42:06 I took a file to the little locator pin on the housing because I figured it would be easier than drilling a hole in the bars plus this way I can move the housings around if need be or swap bars again without having to re-drill every time. |

Title: Re: New Bars Post by 04 Savage on 11/23/10 at 17:48:37 I ran into this problem when I put on 10'' ape hangers 2 weeks ago. A dremel can take those off in a hurry ;) Then tighten down good. By the way, 10'' rise is the most the stock clutch cable will go without replacing. |

There's usually a nub inside the control pods that fits into a small hole in the bar to keep the control pods from spinning on the bar. |
