Post by Jive on 10/08/10 at 14:27:46 I recently purchased a vinyl plotter/cutter, and am starting to make decals for my eBay store, "Evel Beaver Designs". I was thinking I could make some "suzukisavage.com" decals for anyone that would want one. I was looking at my Savage, and I'm not sure of a really good place to put a decal like that, assuming you wanted it on the bike. Anyway, just testing the water a bit to see if there is any interest. I would size it to max out the width. Do you have clear? I'd do the white in clear (on the chrome cover would look great) so would just need black, blue and red. |

I'll chime in on this, the emblem is of JG400, which was a Luftwaffe fighter group in Germany, WW2. They flew the Messerschmidt 163 Komet, a neat little rocket powered flying wing. It was the fastest plane of the war, but because of the small size of the plane, and the rocket motor, flight times were limited to 10 minutes. The German txt on the logo loosely translates to "Like a flea, but OH!!!" It happens to be my favorite plane ( I am an aviation nut!), and was glad to do Verslagen's logo! Restored to flying condition in June 1978, this Zero fighter is still powered by its original Nakajima Sakae 31 engine, a 14-cylinder radial that produces 1,200 h.p. Except for the absence of armament and a few minor equipment changes, this aircraft is essentially the same as it was when operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy during the war; it even carries the same colour scheme (right down to the precise shade of green camouflage which varied in tone from factory to factory in Japan) and markings that it bore in combat. I'm sure they had to add wing tip lights. |
