I'm not sure if I get "the reason" after all those personal touches on that bike of yours, you know I don't like bikes with the front wheel in another zip code, but lots of people do, Come on Yonuh there must be away of keeping the old lizard. |

Title: Re: Selling FireLizard Post by Yonuh Adisi on 10/04/10 at 13:05:58 Believe me, I thought long and hard to come to this decision. I have also tried to think of anything else I could do to get the capital I need. Unfortunately this is the only thing that I could come up with. I won't be leaving the site though, I'll just add the FSO to my username as many others have done and eventually I will get another Savage/S40 to modify. |
Title: Re: Selling FireLizard Post by Stimpy on 10/04/10 at 15:28:50 Good luck with both the sale and your new business. I also had to sell mine last year but am currently working on the fine art of turning a $100 chefs knife into a shinny new savage, it's going very well. www.mitmiristgutkirschenessen.wordpress.com Take care and keep us posted, Rick. |
Title: Re: Selling FireLizard Post by Boule’tard on 10/04/10 at 19:45:23 Good luck.. we will be curious to see what sort of business you start (looking for ideas!) and how it is working out. Selling a low end bike on Ebay is a bad idea, IMO, I would not do it again. Probably could've mowed lawns during the auction and made more than the Savage sold for. |

Title: Re: Selling FireLizard Post by Jerry Eichenberger on 10/05/10 at 08:43:45 Yonuh - Nice to see someone starting a business - best wishes for all success. You'll never regret it, I'm sure. It would be nice to have that big gas tank. |
Title: Re: Selling FireLizard Post by mick on 10/05/10 at 09:11:17 Yan,when my Dad moved up here to Oregon from S Cal,he sold most of his large tools, band saw, wood lathe, table saw, drill press, radial arm saw. he did this rather than rent a truck, that I would have gladly driven for him. he was here a month and he starts looking in the paper for tools, thats right he had to buy them all over again,he said it was a bad move selling all his stuff. |
