Title: Airing it out
Post by Lupo on 09/28/10 at 15:20:51

Just got back from a quick backroad loop with the Savage. It's 101 deg. here but actually doesn't feel too bad if you keep rolling. What I really wanted to pass to the rest of you is, the Savage puts huge smiles on my face. I guess I've been riding it about 4 weeks now and am blown away by how much fun it is. I was afraid I might be too jaded because I have some very noble bikes but...naa. Pure kicks.

Needless to say, you'll find much agreement here!  Glad you are enjoying it!  Thanks for sharing...  made me smile. :)

Very high smiles-per-gallon bike....

That's "Smileage"...  ;D...

If you do not care where you are, you can never get lost.

Aired mine out yesterday after 2 week layoff. Life gets in the way, you know. Cranked over, but when it sits, not enough spark for starter and plug. Sprayed starter fluid under seat and turned my face away to start it. 71 here with sun all week. Planning to ride tomorrow. Can't wait. I've had faster, but can't say better.

Yep, definitely fun little bikes.  I still plan on owning another someday.  Only reason I traded it off in the first place is that it was my first bike, and there's still a lot more I want to try before I settle down on just one or two.  When I do though, it'll definitely be one of the permanent residents of my garage. :)
