Title: Drive belt went ping......
Post by LondonThing on 09/28/10 at 05:03:49

Hey all, long time to speak....

Just lent the savage out to a mate which called me on the way back to drop it off and the drive belt was GONE.... He didnt even notice it go pop. He thought there was a gearbox problem until he got off  :P.

Problem is, the cheapest I can find one is £270 (GBP). Which is astonishingly expensive. Any tips on where to pick one up a bit cheaper in the UK?

Thanks all, hope you are all well...

I have an '86 parts bike in The Marketplace.  I don't remember the condition of the belt, but can check it out later and send you pics, if you are interested.  According to our postal service website, I would think I could get it into a Priority Small box for $13.45 US (Medium box is $43.45)
