Title: well that was fun

Just went on my first ride, it was much easier than I expected

Did the whole counter- steering thing without even thinking about it

Still need to get used to the throttle and when to shift though

PS - bike has an exhaust leak, Haha

My bike wasnt running for 3 weeks, but my ol man (its ok to say Ol man or Ol lady when we are on our bikes lol) finally got it fixed.  Well,he says its better so Im gonna take it for a test ride when I get home.

As for exhust leaks, we had chili this weekend so everyone in my family currently has that problem.   ;D

Backfiring doesnt necessarily mean theres an exhaust leak.

Angie, as long as you don't need a heat shield, chili fired exhaust leaks are not too bad.

Its only a leak if it exits from a location other than the exhaust pipe.

It's leaking where the header pipe meets the muffler

Make sure the clamp isnt rusted up in the threads, then tighten that thang on up.. If that doesnt get it, might need some sealant type goo or a shim.

I'm probably just gonna replace the whole thing
