Title: Fixing Intake leak Post by DrunkenDwarf on 09/10/10 at 10:44:51 Is that as simple as replacing the o-ring between the intake pipe and the cylinder head? Anything special about that o-ring? -D. Dwarf |
Title: Re: Fixing Intake leak Post by Serowbot on 09/10/10 at 10:52:35 It is, if that's the part that's leaking... Mfg. Part Number: 09280-46002 $6.66 http://www.ronayers.com/Search/N/687/PartNumber/09280-46002/Source/SU |
Title: Re: Fixing Intake leak Post by LANCER on 09/11/10 at 08:35:26 being sure the screws/bolts are down nice and snug to prevent leaking but not too much less it distorts the flange and causes an air leak its not a big deal the flanges can take a good bit of abuse it takes a heavy hand to distort them to the point of leaking but I have seen a couple that were sadly abused so just a caution .... |
