Title: Rear turn signal mounting
Post by Joe C on 09/06/10 at 15:26:44

OK, Im know pretty much nothing about electrical and I need to figure out an easy/cheap way to mount up my rear turn signals. I'd like to use the existing holes on the fender(see pic) to mount up the signals but I don't have to use the holes.  Im looking for something small that will wire up directly to the existing wires. Can you guys help me out?  Thanks

Sorry for this crappy pic.

Virtually all the after market signals out there will wire to the existing wires and most will fit those holes.  Do some browsing on Ebay and bike stores and see what you like.

If I buy a LED signal do I need some type of load equalizer?

Yes or you can get a an electronic flasher relay designed for use with LED lights. The electronic relay will save a little on the charging system.
