You can't upload pictures directly to this site. You must post them on another site 1st. I use bikepics.com (it's free). Then you can follow the directions here(with pictures).

nicely done, well dressed under seat box.  right down to the dirt style gaiters.  battery is a little naked.

Good looking bike! I like the red/black theme. Wonder, how does it ride with both rear shocks and a sprung solo seat? Usually only see one or the other  :-?

Very nice. Great paint job. Looks "smooth", not all "garbaged up" with nonfunctional stuff. Really like the seat. Enjoy! Ride safe, far, and often---Luke

Lupo,

You definitely should get together with Serowbot.  You both love the same kind of bike.  He and I also live in Tucson, and along with our friend George, ride the Lemon, Patagonia, and Arivaca all the time.  Get in touch and we can get together for a ride and a session of tire kicking and talking bikes.

hello from sunny south carolina....not an owner of a savage/s40 yet, but do have my eye on a '09 at the local dealer. no stranger to this motor, i have owned a 1997 DR 350se from 4 tenths of a mile to current 15,000 on the odo. put a thumper racing 435cc big bore kit in it at 9500 miles, ported the head myself, airbox mods by myself, looking at the pictures on here and what is available in exploded views at bikebandit dot com it looks to be fairly close, down to the rocker arms. threaded valve adjusters are a little different, the 350 has a square head, looks like the 650 has a screwdriver slot. my big question is...is this the same engine as the DR 650?
