Title: Old Pic, dirt

Circa 1976

My uncle standing near his Suzuki RV125, I have my Yamaha DT175.  A couple of interesting things:

Mirrors.  We both motorbikes with both mirrors -- while dirt riding.  Just as in the street, every ten or so seconds we kept a half second peek of the following rider.   Having a buddy ride doesn't count if he falls and you keep riding.

We both have racks.  Uncle has food, first kit, etc..  Mine has is a flat plastic gallon of water.  Every night it was half filled of water in the freezer.  Ice water filled in the morning, sandwiched with foam to keep insulated.  You can see the tap and a cup bungied to the rack.

Uncle has a white helmet, I have a silver helmet -- keeps cooler in the sun.  He has a black visor to shade his face.  I have a white visor to shade my face.  I have a Snozzle that needs a larger shade.  Dig out my 6 inch visor.

Looked & thot about it a while. I dont think a reversal of the negative could change which handlebar was closer to the ground. Sitting on the seat, the bar in the right hand would be nearest the stand.

Frankly, Im not seeing Paladin in the pics & Im not so sure he was even there...Well now Wait a MINNITT!   Someone hadta be runnin the camera...

The photos do look a little screwy.  I see both bikes have the chain on the right hand side.
To my memory, Jap bikes always had it on the left.

I just researched DT 175 and RV125.  Both models had the chain on the left side.
The photo is backwards.

Looks fine by me.  (thankyou.)

My Camera was a Rollei 35, the smallest full frame 35mm camera.  Had a leather belt case, went riding and hunting.

I am also looking at my maps.  I have 24,000 scale topo maps -- 1970 or older.
