yeah - i did by mistake

it works fine, but wouldn't fit under the fender. i made  a couple of "fender extenders" out of flat stock to lift the fender 1/2 - 3/4 inch.  when it wears out i'll go back to the 100/90!

I put a 110/90-19 on about 2 years ago. I want go back to stock. I also made some 'spacers' out of flat steel to raise the fender, had to deflate the tire a little to squeeze it in. Once you have the axle in place you will have no other issues. I commute about 95% of my riding time. The fatter tire is less prone to catch in grooves. The roads in and around Memphis are not in the best of shape due to the high trucker volume. I also run a 140/90-15 rear. I air them at 28 and 28. Total package is a great commuter with a little extra cushion, less likely to follow grooves or bad road patches. The taller rear with the rejetting and a dyna muffler has a sweet spot appx 70 and I can sit on 80 as long as I want to. Have been right at a 100 (once). Only downside is the steering seemed a little slower at first but I guess that I have adapted. Besides that I like the fatter look!! I have been real happy with the Shenko's that I put on appx 8000 miles ago. The front still looks new. The back is worn but will go several more thousand miles before I have to consider replacing it. I would go for it and not look back!!!
