Hi.. This is an awesome resource for Savage riders. I have always been a Harley guy, but I went through some financial hardship a few years ago. I recently decided to get back on a motorcycle again, and all I could find that I could afford and tolerate was the Savage. Turns out I think this is one awesome little motorcycle. I would like to tell you that I am a convert, but alas no. I weigh in at over 300 lbs and feel a little big on this small bike.

Anyway I am in the process of bobbing it. Please see the pictures as things progress.

member Ed L makes forward controlls 4 & 6 inch i think i got the 4s world of differece specially with drivers back rest..
progressive has shocks that fit this scoot..i leave my oem set to stiffist for handling when solo and the combined 300+#s with the wifey, no issues
this bike will give the hardley 883 a run for the money stock, wake up a 1200 rider in a hurry..
plenty of mod parts out there and a GREAT group of wrenchers on this site..
you wont be the 1st 300#er to enjoy this ride... ;)

haha another year at my desk job and ill join the 300 club. she may groan a bit when i get on her but she still will giddyup when i tell her to
