Title: Turn signal problem. Post by Starlifter on 08/04/10 at 17:20:09 Today I noticed that my left front turn signal remains lit at all times like a running light. It still flashes to indicate a turn, but then it stays lit. Anyone ever have this happen? Any ideas what's going on? |

Title: Re: Turn signal problem. Post by Starlifter on 08/05/10 at 13:13:35 ...heh, okay jokes on me. No running lights. Anyway I pulled the bulbs (stock) and there is only one filiment, nothing burnt out, so I cleaned the contacts and it stays out now unless signaling a turn. |

It must depend on the year. My '07 has running lights in front and just turn signals in back. -D. Dwarf |

Title: Re: Turn signal problem. Post by Phelonius on 08/05/10 at 14:08:33 As Verslagen faces the bike, he was correct the first time. Since he has to face the bike to fix it that is okay. Phelonius |

Title: Re: Turn signal problem. Post by Starlifter on 08/05/10 at 15:03:47 Hmm, I will get a couple of double filiment lamps and see if they will work (05 model.) Can you buy these at an auto supply or do you have to go to a stealership? |
Title: Re: Turn signal problem. Post by verslagen1 on 08/05/10 at 15:42:25 Check the bulbs and sockets too. I think the dual filament bulbs have offset retaining pins the single filament bulbs have even retaining pins. look for 1156 & 1157 one or the other. |
