Any tips on removing the oil drain plug, I have tried everything and it seems to be stuck on there pretty good.

want to be careful to post to the right category, Rubber Side down is for general bike questions.  if its stuck on that good get some PB penetrating oil or WD-40, also make sure you are twisting it the right way  ;D

if that fails get a gym membership and work on your bicep curls  :P

If ur gonna crank on it, be sure to use a six point socket.

Yes question should be posted on RSD.

Penetrating oil?  Will it go thru a copper seal?  And what's behind that seal? oil, don't think it needs more.

OK, How-to... get a 14 and a 17mm combo wrenches.  A combo wrench is one with an open end and a closed end.  One or the other of the wrenches will fit on your oil plug.  Sit your but down by the right foot peg, with your left hand (and maybe a towel) reach under the peg and feel the engine till you find a recess next to the other side of the frame.  No I've never look.  Find the plug nut, put the closed end of the wrench that fits on it with the open end pointing forward and as high up as it'll go.  Now use your left hand to hold it in place and with the right interlock the remaining wrench on the open end of the wrench in place.  If they are craftsman wrenches they will say thank you sir may I have another.  But you won't need another, push down on the second wrench and it should break free.  If it don't, others have recommended a smart smack with a hammer on the 1st wrench.  I've never had to.

Suppose you could stand on the wrench and get a couple of guys to twist the bike.

.....I'm sorry, it was too easy : )

Put a wrench on it,.. a give light, sharp, taps on the wrench with a hammer... (hammer at the front of the bike, tapping toward the rear)...
... if that don't work,...   ... get the big hammer... :-?...

Did this poor guy ever get his oil changed?  I giggle every time I read the one that says to stand on the wrench and get a couple of guys to twist the bike.
