Title: Re: Rear turn signal light bulb Post by Tiefighterpilot on 07/18/10 at 18:51:21 Thanks. Which filament should light up for running light? the tall post with thin wires or short post with think wires? I am thinking maybe I have the wires reversed. |
Title: Re: Rear turn signal light bulb Post by Serowbot on 07/18/10 at 18:54:53 The fronts are dual filament,... rears are single... no running lights in the rear... illegal in most states to have any running lights in the rear other than red ones... |
Title: Re: Rear turn signal light bulb Post by Tiefighterpilot on 07/18/10 at 18:56:38 oh. so 1156 is single fillament.. ok got it. Strange... my rear turn signal is also running light. I am running the same turn signal kit as Babyhogs from ebay. |

Title: Re: Rear turn signal light bulb Post by Tiefighterpilot on 07/18/10 at 19:46:35 It looks like from the manual that turn signal is 21W and running light is 5W. Which means if I run dual filament, I can use 7528 bulb which is 12.8v 21/5 watt. I think I may have solved my issue, going over it with my buddy who is an electrician. I have my wires reversed so running light watt is going through the turn signal filament and turn signal watt is going through the running light filament. I will have to switch and see if it blows up. |
