Well I am counting down the hrs to my Dr.s appt. 9 a.m. tomorrow I will be there. He should take the cast off and the pins out.

I am sooo excited to get to this point. I feel it brings me closer to being one with my bike again.

For those of who that have been down and had to recover from injuries then you understand where I am right now.

I will let you all know what transpires later on tomorrow.
To all that have sent prayers and well wishes I continue to thank you. You've given me some of the best medicine and have made my recovery a much easier road to travel. Hugs to all of you.. Kim :) :)

Good luck at the doctors. When he says your good to go, take your time getting back on your bike. 30 seconds sounds like a reasonable amount of time. Just fun'in you. Be safe and enjoy the moment.

I know how you feel, I had pins in my left arm last year from going down. I was impatient and rode with pins still in. Good thing I have a Suzuki Burgman, no clutch. ;D

You will have to do something else to puzzle the home security boys at the airport.

Well seems I can still be a puzzle at the airport. Old cast came off and x-rays revealed that things are healing yet is a slow process. So a new neon pink cast is back on. :(
Lil depression set in for awhile,yet am fine now. I go back Aug 3, so will be around for a few more weeks.... ;) Kim

Oh Kim, I'm sooo sorry to hear that. I know you had your hopes up.. We all did!
Don't let it getcha down! You gotta be healed up before you climb back up on that horse. I bet it felt good to get some fresh air on your hand & thumb, if only for a little bit...
