my happiness lasted for one day.. ahh...

I finished my top end the day before yesterday and i rode it all day yesterday, it didnt give me one problem BUTTTTTTT today i decided to jump on the freeway and as i did so my bike bugged out!

the bike starts, and it idles but as soon as i give it throttle this bogs out..

what do you guys think it could be.?

i checked the carb and i cleaned it and when i decided to try the bike, it did the same thing..

what could it be?

Sound like either the main jet backed out or you forgot the washer under the jet.  Since it ran great yesterday, most likely something unscrewed itself.

open up the carb and take a looksey

What happens if you choke it? And what about running it on "prime"? That should tell you something.

Even tho I have never had a problem w/ the vacuum petcock, from all I've read here, I would suspect it first if I had any kind of a fuel starvation problem. But I agree,....sounds like a main jet plugged or.....

You mentioned that you checked and cleaned the carburetor...but, you don't know where the main jet is?...
This is not a proper cleaning you are doing...

The main and pilot jets are both accessed from inside the float bowl, (bottom of carb, four screws, float bowl comes off...jets face up from the bottom)... they look like brass screws with a hole in the center...

Yahh, & one of the ears that makes the screwdriver sot on the pilot on mine broke AWFF, so, Im stuck w/ stock there, but Im thinking thats okay. Point is, be careful , make sure that driver is well seated. I thot mine was, still not sure,
