Title: Some fresh pics (icks?)
Post by WD on 06/07/10 at 17:24:23

Just snapped off some quick pics since I haven't been posting at all for 2 years until last week...

Some new mods, 3 new to me projects (more like nightmares).

Warning, these pics are not the best... :P

Misc Panhead, Vulcan 800A custom leftovers, HD Evo and Shovelhead stuff.

My 1963 Honda CL72 Scrambler that had been 1/2 turned into a cafe racer before I got it. I'm going cafe racer meets dirt tracker meets no idea but it ought to be unique.

I hate dirt bikes, even old British ones. This was a 1971 Rickman Zundapp 125. A bottle of 100 year old single malt takes it and the 2 partial Benelli 125 engines.

This used to be a 1957 Harley Davidson FL Panhead. Spent the last 15 years in pieces in my friend's barn/garage/junkpile. He's the white Fred Sanford. Believe it or not, it has compression.

Lisa's Intruder 800 now has Savage shocks, dropped it a good 4-5 inches in the rear.

Yeah, this did used to look just like every other stock Savage... but now it is comfortable. 15 inch apes, cut down seat, narrow tank, Intruder 800 shocks, real exhaust, Bates/Lucas 7 inch sidemount headlight, real rear signals, decent grips...

The Honda and the Harley will eventually be back in service. It's pretending to be summer here, so, they can rot until fall. Not like anyone will be able to tell.  ;D
