Title: Skill needed Post by klx650sm2002 on 06/05/10 at 08:32:29 I may have the bike but I don't have the skills to do this. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o147/klx650sm2002/Sideways.jpg Let alone in formation. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o147/klx650sm2002/3SMs.jpg Clive W :) |
Title: Re: Skill needed Post by Serowbot on 06/05/10 at 10:15:42 I wish Motard would catch on in the US... then,... I wish I was 20 years younger,... I bounced better... :-?... |
Title: Re: Skill needed Post by verslagen1 on 06/05/10 at 10:55:03 betcha that sand in the middle of the corner requires duct tape. |
Title: Re: Skill needed Post by justin_o_guy2 on 06/05/10 at 14:26:48 Not on my best day could I ever have done that. Ive done some crazy crap, but intentionally drifting on 2 wheels w/ a motor on a surface other than dirt?? not likely. I did it on my 10 speed, but it was CONsiderably lighter, making it easy to make adjustments on thru the corners. |
Title: Re: Skill needed Post by Midnightrider on 06/05/10 at 18:27:16 The reason I use to attend the Myrtle Beach bike rally was they had a flat track race on asphalt at the Myrtle Beach Speedway. They were always awesome races held on Fri night. Loved seeing the sparks at night coming off the flat trackers shoes? That was real racing. |
Title: Re: Skill needed Post by Southpaw on 06/05/10 at 20:21:43 Impressive, but not for me. Part of the reason we get to our age is resisting the urge to let our ego outrun our @ss! ;) |
Title: Re: Skill needed Post by Boule’tard on 06/06/10 at 05:01:00 That is pretty awesome. I can't do it either, not to that angle in dirt and not at all on pavement. I read somewhere you're actually less likely to highside it if you start backing it in at 50mph or more. Hahahahh. I have a motard too, but that is so not gonna happen... not enough youth, money, and bent bikes aggravate me. Maybe when I get my kid a CRF 50 :D |
Title: Re: Skill needed Post by Skid Mark on 06/06/10 at 13:12:14 I could do that once, right before I laid it down and bounced of a curb. The old sense of adventure isn't what it used to be. It is, however, great to watch someone else do it, and do it well. |
