Title: Electrical problem v2.0 Post by kamekaze on 06/03/10 at 15:55:04 So after replacing a blown fuse to fix my last electrical problem I am left with an entirely new one. My bike will start and idle fine, but if I try to accelerate or turn on my headlights it will die. Are there any common problems that would cause a malfunction like this? Thanks for any help guys. |
Title: Re: Electrical problem v2.0 Post by Trippah on 06/03/10 at 16:53:20 There is a liklyhood of a bare or exposed wire in the headlght which shorts out when th light is turned on; this is a fairly common problem on some bikes..seems the vibration rubs away the insulation; fortunately there is little vibration on a savage. ;D |
