Title: Highway Bar Mount Post by Tanker2Biker on 06/03/10 at 14:23:58 As some of you know, I have been looking for a way to mount a highway bar. I have been thinking about it, and I built this today to mount a plain, flat bar type. I have not welded or drilled anything. I used a piece of angle iron, and would drill through it and the aluminum plates from the Ed L forward control kit. I would appreciate it if some of you could take a look at these photos and tell me if there is some reason I should not go ahead and have the welding and drilling done. I have looked at where it would go, and it does not appear that it will contact or interfere with the brake linkage or shift linkage. http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn128/M60_Tanker06/highway%20bar/SANY0032-1.jpg http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn128/M60_Tanker06/highway%20bar/SANY0033-1.jpg http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn128/M60_Tanker06/highway%20bar/SANY0034-1.jpg http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn128/M60_Tanker06/highway%20bar/SANY0035.jpg http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn128/M60_Tanker06/highway%20bar/SANY0036.jpg http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn128/M60_Tanker06/highway%20bar/SANY0039.jpg |

Do you mean between the top of the brake pedal and the bottom of the highway peg? How much would you need to feel comfortable? I have never had bars or ridden a bike with them, so I have no idea |
