Looks to me like the app is free, but you gotta buy the OT-2 device.

heck, ya OT-2 hafta buy the stuff, nothin is really free, except advice, & its often worth what we pay, innitt?

I'll have to give it a try, if I can borrow my kids Ipod-touch. :o

Then what does it communicate with??
My son has an iPhone, so I'd be curious if you come up with something.
