NOT SURE, BUT WHEN I GOT MINE I TOOK MY TIRE INTO THE LOCAL "NORTHERN TOOL STORE" AND TRIED OUT THE VARIOUS SIZES TO SEE HOW THEY LOOKED ON THE ACTUAL TIRE.
I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A WASTED TO TRY TO ORDER ONE WITHOUT ACTUALLY SEEING IT FIRST.
I HAVE ALSO SEEN THESE TRAILOR FENDERS IN THE "TRACTOR SUPPLY" STORES AS WELL.

Not sure, but I believe the stock rear tire on the savage is hovering around 11.5" radius.  If you maintain the same radius point with the fender, you would end up with a couple inches of clearance between the tire and the fender.  Might look a little "mismatched".

You could always offset the radius and bring the fender down to an inch over the tire.  If you're doing this on a stock LS650, most of the fender will be hidden by the suspension components anyway...

That looks exactly like what I got to do my rear fender, except I'm pretty sure the one that I found was a 7". It turned out pretty nice and I've liked it a lot.

Without looking, I think 7.5" is too wide. Mine is 7" wide and just barely clears the right side shock...

Thank you.  Do you recall what the radius was on the fender?

No, sorry...

A trailer fender designed for a 14- 16 inch tire should work. I doubt you'll find anything perfect...
