I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A WASTED TO TRY TO ORDER ONE WITHOUT ACTUALLY SEEING IT FIRST. I HAVE ALSO SEEN THESE TRAILOR FENDERS IN THE "TRACTOR SUPPLY" STORES AS WELL. |

Not sure, but I believe the stock rear tire on the savage is hovering around 11.5" radius. If you maintain the same radius point with the fender, you would end up with a couple inches of clearance between the tire and the fender. Might look a little "mismatched". You could always offset the radius and bring the fender down to an inch over the tire. If you're doing this on a stock LS650, most of the fender will be hidden by the suspension components anyway... |
Title: Re: Rear Fender question Post by smac414 on 05/25/10 at 01:01:55 That looks exactly like what I got to do my rear fender, except I'm pretty sure the one that I found was a 7". It turned out pretty nice and I've liked it a lot. |

Title: Re: Rear Fender question Post by Tiefighterpilot on 05/25/10 at 07:57:44 Thank you. Do you recall what the radius was on the fender? |
Title: Re: Rear Fender question Post by earlytimz on 05/25/10 at 08:03:27 No, sorry... A trailer fender designed for a 14- 16 inch tire should work. I doubt you'll find anything perfect... |
