pretty slick. All these hardtailers coming around though...hurts just imagining it. Then again at least you can hurt in style. Shame you had to bugger up the smooth look with that big english plate. You guys across the pond cant do side mount plates can you?

I thought English bobbers wore funny hats and carried a nightstick... :-?...

Its so clean and shiny!  Looks good.  But I would have removed the "Sportster" decals from the tank...

Nice bike.. Did you do the frame buy it from a distributor or have it custom made.. it's nice.. I like the rear fender too and the oil tank.

Very very nice work!  I'm interested to find out... did you fabricate the frame yourself or is this a modified sportster set up?

Great rear fender!  And a nice little detail on the speedo!  I was thinking of doing this myself.

I also like the tank, but I think a Wassell would have been pimp!

One last question: Did you stick with the stock rear rim or did you use a larger rear wheel from another model bike?

Excellent Work Mate!

Yes I agree about the tank decals. A paint strip and respray will be done soon

Thanks for the positive comments. The frame is a one off UK custom frame. The rear rim is stock with a Continental Conti Milestone 140/90 tyre. I am going to strip and respray the tank black with maybe a simple pinstripe.

Thanks. The frame is a one off UK custom frame. The oil tank (battery box) is welded stainless steel. There is just enough room for the battery, CDi (ignitor) box and starter relay. The starter button and front/rear light switches are mounted on the side of it. No switches on the handlebars just a small horn push.

Doesn't the carb get in the way of the foot controls on the left side?

Nice work!

Thanks. The carb just sits underneath my left leg although I am thinking about shortening the inlet pipe to make it sit nearer to the engine.

Can you post a pic of that side showing the carb and inlet pipe?

Thanks!
