Title: Re: My S40 bobbed Post by 12Bravo on 05/10/10 at 09:35:40 The seat, fender, paint and new rear turn signals cost me about $150 all together plus my time. Biggest plus is I did everything myself. I had a flat piece of metal laying around that I used for the license plate bracket |

Title: Re: My S40 bobbed Post by 12Bravo on 05/10/10 at 19:34:11 Yes I do need to take to covers off and also paint the exhaust. I haven't decided if I want to change out the handle bar or not yet. |
Title: Re: My S40 bobbed Post by Rocco on 05/12/10 at 05:06:43 nice bro! i can't take off my pass seat, but i will shorten my rear eventually but my front will be done soon and i took my head covers off, one of the best things i've done...besides the ammo box! |

Title: Re: My S40 bobbed Post by 12Bravo on 05/12/10 at 06:16:37 I know, its addictive. I picked up some high temp ceramic paint for the exhaust yesterday. I'm still thinking about changing the front to either a girder or springer and maybe a set of ape hangers. I am going to make a removable sissy bar for when I need to carry a travel bag with me. |

Not sure how easy it is to install a Springer, but I know the Girder ain't that difficult to install. |
Title: Re: My S40 bobbed Post by 12Bravo on 05/12/10 at 18:59:06 I have a friend that owns a custom bike shop. I will ask him how hard it would be to put a springer on. |
