I wasn't in an accident. I got off without putting the kickstand down.

I caught it before she went all the way down, but the left peg put a nice divot in my new asphalt driveway.

Note to all members, don't get off without the kickstand down!

Here's where I get paranoid. Anything I should check before I ride her again? The peg was loose, but so was the right...I have to assume it's always been like that.

Bike should be fine,... just pull your heart out of your throat,... and cough up that pride you swallowed,... and you'll be good to go... ;)...

Maybe double-check that it's shifting okay... :-/...

My wife layed her's down in the garage the other day doing the exact same thing. Happens to the best of us. ;D

i was moving it and not sitting on it, my foot got stuck and i slowly went down, and nothing i could do to save my self, slow mo horror!

like others say at least its not at a gas station or something!

I did the gas station slow fall over into the gas pump while sitting on the bike two years ago, I didn't stop again for gas at that station for six months. I was just too embarrassed to use that station. Ended up riding an extra 6 miles to the next one. :D

Parking at Dunkin' Donuts and rolled over a dippiy-do hump in the pavement and down it went. I could have died!

I wonder how that would work? Maybe you would need a lap-belt mounted on the seat that wouldn't release you to get off until the stand was down?

Or maybe one of those metal/rubber things you get over your shoulders on Rollercoasters, which could double up as a handy safety cage for ultimate protection at all times ;)

Best tale I heard concerned a motorcyclist sitting at a traffic light. Another motorcyclist pulled up alongside, stopped, then slowly fell over. He got back up, lifted his machine, and said "I just took the sidecar off this thing yesterday, and I still don't remember to put my feet down when I stop."
