Title: Does a 96 rear seat and sissybar fit 06? Post by shiphteey on 04/20/10 at 07:03:22 What all is involved to make this work? I had my 96 already removed and sold and a guy on an 06 wanted the backrest setup for his wife. I looked up the side brackets and they come up as different part numbers...do the 96 style at least mount in the same holes? Any help would be appreciated. A. |

Sissy bar - he will need the sissy bar side brackets (any year) plus the sissy bar. Rear seat (like two piece seat) - Why??? The sissy bar works with the one peice seat that is on the '07's. But any how...... the rear two peice section mounts by hooking into a loop just under the sissy bar and bolts to a nut welded to the fender just behind the front seat. that '07 has neither of those and would they need to be fab'd.
