Ok I have searched and searched and can't find any info on putting the older 2 piece seat on a newer S40. I remember seeing it before. I have a 2007 and am wanting to use just the front half for my bobber project. Will the older seat bolt right up on my newer bike? Thanks.

I just went into the garage and tried it on my '07 and with a little finesse it looks like it will bolt right up.

The front section of the two piece will bolt up perfectly. The back half will require some fabricating.

Thanks guys. I am only wanting to use the front half anyway so won't need to worry about modifying the rear.
