Hey Guys
Just wondering if anyone knew what interval to adjust the valves on the savage mine is a '96.
Also do the head bolts have an adjustment/check interval ?

it's in the owners manual, you'll find it in the tech docs

Ouch! but kicking noted.

the following was added to the valve adjust "how to":
Owner's manual says to be performed every 12 months or 6,000 km (4,000 miles) Which happens to be the recommended oil change interval.

anybody ever wait that long to change their oil?
funny how they recommend cleaning the air filter more often than changing the oil.

Once you know what you're doing, it takes less than 10min... if you have to set them I'd say you have maybe 20min work tops... as vers said (and I listen to what he says) do it every other oil change... takes a few min and can get rid of future problems

i change my fluid every 1000 miles....why not? it only takes 2 and a half quarts lol

That reminds me, I need to change my oil. Hadn't done it in a while. Would hate to tell you how long it's been, ya'll would shoot me with those perty guns in the "Thing of Beauty" thread in the cafe.
