Title: Washer in carb? Post by shermeco on 03/29/10 at 18:46:39 I have been told mixed things about putting a washer back in the carb to replace the spacer? I have a stock header into a sportster muffler cone air filter straight off the carb and an iridium plug. any ideas? If i do end up putting washers back in where is the best place to get them and what size do i need? Thanks in advance |

But,... if you have an Ace Hardware,... I use 1, #4 teflon washer... they come in black or white, both the same, and exactly 2/3 as thick as stock.... .066"... stock is right around .1"... |

Oh BTW, my stock (sold in Oergon) spacer was .102 in Sept 09. Kinda sounds like close carb tolerances wasn't what Suzuski did best :o |
