Title: valve adjust Post by Oldnewguy on 03/23/10 at 13:04:22 The link to the valve adjustment in the Tech section appears to be broken. I had my valves adjusted today and now the bike seems to be running rich. I think that it makes sense that the carb would need adjusting after valve adjust, but I can't locate a reference to it on this site or in my Clymers. Help, Please. :-/ |

Doesn't sound right to me.....unless maybe the carb had been adjusted with the valves grossly out of spec. |
Title: Re: valve adjust Post by Skid Mark on 05/28/10 at 21:19:39 I just went thru Verslagen1's valve adj. thread. Very well explained!!! The pics really made the diference. I'm no mechanic, but this thread would get me thru it. |
