I know it cant be an expensive repair but i just found out that i lost my left side cover plate. grrrrrrr I mean everybody has trouble getting them off how in the hell does mine accidentally fall off with out me even messing with it!

I lost my right side cover a year ago. I couldn't find one used (new I think it was almost $80), and seeing as how I want to switch to a cone air filter and get rid of the airbox it covered anyways, I just left it off.

kinda garbage how they are held on with a single screw and a few hopes, eh?

mine fell off on the highway the day after i painted it, someone ran it over and i recovered it....luckily i like nasty-ness!!!!!!!

if i were u, i would just tuck the electronics somewhere, can't be that critical as the cover isn't waterproof and be done with it!!

lost both of mine. No biggie. Left side looks uglier with the black box just "there" but its whatever. Right side pretty much looks the same.

At the end of last riding season I lost my right side rear peg.... no more throwin the Ms. on the back......

I went to an aftermarket shop to get some new pegs and find out how much they would charge to do the job...... they said 1/2 hr to install both rear pegs!

I should have taken them up on that offer. It took me 4 hrs to do mine.

Be thankful its something simple like a cover.
