Title: Clear Coat ? Post by Routy on 03/10/10 at 13:11:45 I just painted my "Forward Control" plates and parts. Someone mentioned that spraying a clear coat over enamel will give a hard finish that won't get messed up so easily when installing etc. Anyone know what to use,....enamel, Laquer, or something special ? Thanks for any info.

Title: Re: Clear Coat ? Post by Routy on 03/10/10 at 21:20:50 Ok, a gal at TrueValue seemed like she knew what she was talking about, handed me a can of clear Laquer. Seem to work good over the black enamel, gave it about 4 coats. Maybe install them tomorrow if they harden up ok.
