Then there's the klr/x from kawasaki. All are about the same size and weight. A little creative mounting and they'd all make good replacements Id imagine. Ive looked at the idea very loosely though, and good condition used engines for all 3 of those bikes are down right pricey in comparison with used LS engines. I think it would be more fun and as or less expensive to get all you can out of the LS engine...which is exactly what I intend to do. |
