Post by rl153 on 02/13/10 at 13:55:21

I just got a deltran battery tender jr. .How do you secure the cable that you leave connected to the battery all the time ,so that it doesn't burn or get in the way, when your not using it?.Thanks.

You take really good care of your batteries, huh?  ;D

I think the 2nd part of my post in your other thread answers the question pretty good.. verslagen1 with a better solution in 3..2..1..

Edit:  see http://www.muellerelectric.com/alligator_clips.html and scroll down to "Insulator for Mini Alligator Barrel/Threaded Barrel" to see what I was talking about.

Doesn't the tender come w/ the insulated eyelet adapter ? Just connect it to the battery terminals. You can get at the pos ok, but the neg is a bear, so just connect it to the frame,.....I just drilled a 3/32 hole and screwed it to the frame. Great for charging, but for jump starting use Diggers insulated cable.
