Title: Exhaust
Post by BradGoehl on 02/04/10 at 14:03:31

Have any of you guys used this Jardine replacement exhaust system?

I'm looking to make some performance upgrades to my 02 Savage.

Actually several of us use that type of exhaust. But it would be much cheaper to go to ebay. they have those things all over the place and you won't have to pay 200 bucks for it.

Ineclipse's bike has a gutted jardine. That sucker is LOUD. With baffle it's got a nice sound without being over the top. I would agree with Yonuh and suggest ebay though. You can save at least$50 on a brand new jardine. Probably considerably more if you dont mind used.

I have one with the baffle in and its still pretty loud. I also use a Minuki carb from Lancer.

Oh no doubt its loud, but (I never tire of this story, or watching it happen) with the gutted jardine Ineclipse will roll up to the cab of a semi while passing and lets off the throttle real quick. That exhaust rumbles and grumbles so loud its unbelievable. It sounds like a jake brake. The truck inevitably begins slowing down, probably thinking something just went terribly wrong on the rig and right around it we go.
